At True North Outpost we believe in the value of family. Lots of places say that you are like family, but here we live it. From the moment you call with a question or to book a trip, to the moment you walk out the door after an adventure we will treat your family like our family. That’s a promise.

We also know that family does not mean you have to have the same last name. At True North, our friends are our family too. We treat our employees with love and respect and trust them to treat you with the same regard. That is why when you go online and look at our reviews we are a consistent five star company. It’s not for the recognition or the clicks to our website. It’s to fulfill our promise to you.

Safety

The saying goes amongst adventure guides “Safety Third.” This is usually followed by the question. “Well, what is first and second?” To which we answer, “Safety of course!” Safety is the most important thing to us. We want you to go out on any of our amazing adventures and have as much fun as humanly possible, but if you are going to get hurt you are not going to have any fun. That is why safety is the first thing on our minds whenever you embark on a trip with us.

Second for us is training. At True North Outpost, we love training. That is why we spend more time training our guides that any other company in the game. We go the extra mile to ensure that when you set out into the woods or on the river, your guide is a pro at what they do. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very well trained. So when you’re out there, they can help prepare you for anything that comes your way.

We also know that safety can be a hassle. “We want to do something awesome on our trip but we can’t because the rule police are going to come after us.” We don’t roll that way either. Yes it is important to be safe and follow the rules, but it is also important to understand risk management. Any adventure can be dangerous. However, you can rest easy knowing that we have taken every perception and them some to make sure every trip as safe as possible without beating you over the head with needless rules.

Quality

In our list of things we believe in, quality is number three. What’s funny about that is you would never know it. Quality is at the heart of everything we do. We make a promise to our customers that you will not have to sacrifice money for quality. In the same way, you will not have to pay a fortune for it either.

When we started True North Outpost we had four things in mind. Safety, Family, Quality & Affordability. We believe one of a kind adventures don’t have to cost a fortune. That is why we have worked hard to keep our trips affordable while still offering you the highest quality and safety standers possible.

Life is hard, and expensive. Your vacation should not have to be that way. We take the time to look closely at every adventure, service and product we offer and then ask ourselves; “Could I afford this?” Coming from a bunch of outdoor folks with not a whole lot of pocket money, if that answer is “No”, than we are not going to charge you extra just to make a buck.

When you are charged big ticket prices for small ticket items that just isn’t fair. Your satisfaction is so important to us. We care about you and we will keep our prices reasonable so you can have the adventure of your dreams…and still take the whole group out for pizza after.

small groups

Are you tired of spending tons of money on a trip and getting slammed into a huge bus with 60 other people? Are you fed up with just being another number in a que line miles long? Are you done with not being able to get a full experience because their are just too many people in one place? SO. ARE. WE.

That is why we don’t deal in 100 person rafting trips and huge lines to use the bathroom. We won’t pack you into a small space or pile you on top of other people. Most of all we won’t sacrifice your safety or adventure experience just to get more people through in a day.

You will know your guides name and they will know yours. We will listen when you talk and come when you call.
